Default ls9 cam advance

i have a 2002 2500hd 6.0 looking to to put a 2010 ls9 cam in it can i advance it 6 degrees to get me in a lower power band . specs on this cam are the same as vince cam i want except one is a 114 lsa the ls9 122.5 i think this would be a great cam for towing and still have great mid to upper power for passing has any tried advancing one?

Put the same cam in the same truck and it was gutless. Call around and get some recommendations from cam company's. that cam is **** in a heavy *** truck.

That 122.5 is SO much LSA that it messes up the power curve UNLESS you are supercharging, which is what is made for.

I would recommend getting a standard 3 bolt cam from anywhere for not much more than the ls9 cam. My friend thought he was saving money by getting that cam and then he saw how much it costs to convert the timing cover stuff after he purchased the cam. Doesn't TSP have cams specifically for truck? Id look there first.
