Default Right choice for valvesprings

Hi everyone , im new to this forum.
I bought a new camshaft for my 97 corvette , the comp cams 54-459-11.
specs:
hyd. Roller; 2000-7000rpm; Adv. Dur. 281 Int./289 Exh.; Valve Lift .617 Int./.624 Exh.; Lobe Angle 113 deg.
Which would be a good choice for valvesprings to.match the new cam ?
thanks everyone.

Thought this too
As KCS stated; factory lifters as well
Could go Lunati dual spring kit or Brian Tooley stuff
Push rods, timing chain, oil pump and O-ring all helpful
Texas Speed/WS6 Store are great resources for everything. One stop shopping

find out what your cam grinder recommends. valve springs are NOT one size fits all

IMO Tooley has the best springs for the $. I am sure if you call and tell them what cam you have, they can set you up.

The Lunati kit for LT1 is very good....but Op's exh lift is .624...that is pushing the .630 MAX lift of the 73925K5 Lunati kit

Get a spring that allows for more lift than .630

I would also plan on larger OD pushrods for the springs that will be required for control and the RPM of that cam.

Couple of quick questions. What have you done to the exhaust side, headers? How about intake, are you still running the LS1 intake? That cam is going to need a lot of supporting components to function properly.

First of all, the OP has probably got it sorted oit since this time past year.

Second, the max lift rating of springs are usually spec’d with an excessive amount of coilbind built in. A spring kit with .630” max lift rating would most likely be fine with .624” valve lift, and in my experience, could even use a little shim to bring the coilbind clearance down
