Builder/parts selection searching for information on buying a LS short block. Looking for information on K1 cranks/Rods and the Dart SHP blocks. Anything I should know? I have read for the past week and tired of reading. Ready to buy. I thought I had chosen a builder however I want to weigh options.
1 of my main concerns is having a cam speced. I would like to deal with only 1 place for short block and cam.

I am sorry I guess I left out some details.
Use will be drag racing.
I am leaning towards Thompson.
Just curious about the K1 stuff and about using them for cam selection.
Reason behind the cam selection worry is one builder suggest xxx for a carbed motor on spray then another says that same cam is best case for N/A.
