Semi custom/custom pistons LS1 w Ls2 rods ???
Building a engine I have most of the parts for already, crank, rods, heads, and a good 5.3 iron block that needs a little overbore for clean up
My weedle iron block ls1 project, soild roller under .600 lift cam, 228 ish duration, 10.8-11:1 compression, nitrous
Need pistons
Reqs
3.898, 3.903, or 3.905 bore Piston availibilty will determine
6.098 ls2 rods, resized arp 2000 bolts
.943? floating pins
3.622 stroke
2618 aluminum?
Replacement style flat top (-5cc?) for 10.8:1-11:1 with a gm MLS head gaskets and stock 243 heads milled 20 thousandths
Stock or close to stock compression distance. 1.280? 1.30?
150hp nitrous
The Ls2 connecting rods with the floating pins is the only thing uncommon
Ideas and or suggestions, i have such little $$ in the project so far really the only big money spent will be on pistons and valvetrain
