Well guys, I just bought another f body after selling my camaro a few years back. It's a 99 ws6 a4. I'm gonna be dropping the engine and tranny out this winter and doing a heads, cam, intake swap. I've got a yank 3600 stall converter to put in. Doing a 3.73 rear gear and currently have 1 7/8 long tubes, ory, and magna flow exhaust. I'm sticking with the stock bottom end and not planning to rev past 6600 rpms. Without money being an issue what's the best out of the box heads and port size. I'm kinda leaning towards AFR 215's.

Texas Speeds Black Friday sale is right around the corner. Hard to argue with their H/C packages prices during that sale. I know you said price doesn't matter but check out the prices during the sale and determine if the little power gained with after market casting is worth it over a ported factory casting.

Setting a realistic budget will help.

We can get you the most complete package out there and itll make at least 440hp for a killer budget.

Tfs220 as cast heads
Fast92/92tb
FAST 42lb injectors
OUR High lift asa cam
7.500 pushrods
All gaskets and bolts
Hd billet Timing set
Hi flo Oil pump
Thrust plate

All of that will run you 3800 shipped

All brand new parts, all the pieces needed, and youd have them all within the week!

Add in the z06 maf and 98mm lid and couplers/elbow for $400 more. I added the parts in without adding cost in. Then also look at a fuel pump at that price for $220 for racetronix 255 kit with hotwire harness.

I like this package. Are these the best heads I can get? My budget is going to be right about $5000.00. I want to stay NA. What are the specs on the cam? Also my sig still has my old build. I just haven't had a chance to change things around yet.

Keep the heads you got, sell longtubes, bolt this on to your current setup: way more smiles to the gallon and probably about the same overall price!

They are a very good head for the money. And allow you room to grow later as you can cnc them for a stroker build or more power.
Cam is 226/236 .600/.600 110lsa. It idles pretty wicked and from what im told is competing pretty well with larger cams on the street.

The mast heads are ok, but require extra adaptations to make them work esp with stock intakes. Not worth it for the price imo.

Yeah I agree the price is a bit high. My buddy runs them on his 06 GT0. They are worked over some (not sure by who) and with a ported Fast and good size cam it makes some serious power. Throttle response is very crisp too.

I mean sometimes they either arent cast right or the casting comes apart literally. Meaning they take extra work to fit. Plus they need longer than stock plug wires aa well. Ive ran into issues with clearance just because they are taller also.

Ok I was not aware of those issues. I just know the OP said money wasn't an issue, so thought I'd mention them. But money and possible fitment issue aside, they make some great power, especially in the hands of a good porter

If I wanted to spend a bunch of money on a 346 I would probably go with a set of Frankenstein tfs heads. Or a set of tea tfs215's

Mast makes a very good product. Their 240cc small bore rectangle ports might interest you. Better intake options. Modded ls3 intake, mid length runner fast. Cam slightly more split. Dumb example, but if 230/240 on cathedral, do 228/242 on the mast small bores.

Lol. Mast heads not cast right or come apart?!?!? That's the first I've ever heard of that. My buddy makes 630rwhp with Mast heads on an NA LS3. They are an amazing setup. A work of art really. The fact you'd carry them on your website and say they aren't cast right and come apart is pretty crazy. Why are you selling them at all then if they're that bad?

MMS220 all the way. Call Mamo up and tell him you're goals and he'll set you up. Darth_V8r makes over 500whp with Mamo's stuff.

I read every post here from ws6store. You hurt because he regarded Mast products in a less than favorable light? There was no verbal abuse, until now with your badmouthing them. Not sure where you are coming from...
