Default LSX Head bolt torquing

Anyone have suggestions on how to tighten the M8x4 bolts to torque spec in the lifter valley on a LSX head?
On the ARP torque spec page they are numbers 20-23

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to torque the (4)m8 head bolts that are located in the lifter valley on a LSX head? They are numbers 20-23 on the ARP torque spec sheet. thank you in advance.

Default Head bolt/stud torque method

Hi Kroz, I work from the center out ALWAYS, stating the order you have posted is not correct.
My method would be 11 as seen correct with the next 12 being # 16 & #17 next.
Then working out alternating top to bottom in order. (13 & 18 then 12 & 19)

I would ADD the TWO center studs # 1 & #2 be "retorqued" as 11 & 12 in the large bolt area sequence.

Im pretty sure you're asking how to reach those studs. I use something like this:

If you attach it to the torque wrench at 90 degrees, you just us the same torque value, but if you attach it straight forward, like pictured below, you will have to adjust the torque value:

I foresee someone asking what all this **** means. It's just simple math.
