Default loud Chirp Squeak inside the engine

Pulled the beast out the other day and went a block and turned around . Engine has a loud Squeak Scrape noise . I took the belts off , and ran it , still making the noise . I though it would be a lifter cam issue so I pulled the heads and I can't see any real damage to make that sound ... Now I am going to Pull the Pan and check in there ... I did drain the oil and as soon as I pulled the plug I hear some metal hit the drain pan ... What are your thoughts ?

You might also check the timing set and oil pump. More teardown, I know, but better safe than VERY sorry!
