Here is a better picture of the rod and bearing from cylinder number 2.

I already picked up 2 rods and pistons.

I swear if I stare at that last pic long enough I can see the bend.

Now, the tuff decision. Should I reuse the 2 pistons and just replace the rod or should I put a piston and rod in those 2 holes???
i would replace the rods, wrist pins, and pistons. no question.

the problem is the rings/cyl walls are worn in. new rings won't seal.

the other thing that would worry me is the stress on the crank when the rods bent. you should at least have that checked.

so, you are probably looking at a rebuild if you want it done right. In addition, you're obviously running on the edge of what those rods can handle. sounds like it's time to upgrade.

i can't tell what version of OEM rods you're running, but it may be worth considering finding a used gen IV bottom end with the newer style rods and just swapping stuff out.

lay the rod on something flat and to see if it looks bent. We have found them that way before. Also measure the piston you could have rolled the skirt and be hearing piston slap.
