Default Small cam ls1 exhaust help?

I've got an ls1 out of a 98 camaro im swapping into a third gen firebird it's mildly modded including a ws6 store hot cam. I'm trying to find a nice loud aggressive exhaust for it that I can use with the stock manifolds and cats. Any suggestions?

Not with stock headers and cats. They say that because most cammed setups have headers and no cats

The LM1 is a actual resonator...not a muffler. The LM2 is a muffler. So obviously the LM1 will be louder

Consider the GMMG or Madhammer exhaust system. From what I have heard and understand, it sounds quite good with stock headers and cats. There are plenty of threads on here you can check out.. Also lots of sound clips via YTube. I myself do not use the GMMG system. It can be a bit rowdy with LT Headers and No cats. But in your situation, it may be an option. Good luck.

Love spintech. Most won't go for it but I plan to use them for whatever my next exhaust project ends up being.

Oh ya for sure, they sound good on every car ive heard them on. Old school sbc, BBC, coyote, LS1 and 2, hemi's...little rasp for a chambered muffler. Probably has something to do with the venturi vacuum effect. Although I would avoid the loudest 9000 series offering. The sportsman should do.

I agree they sound awesome. They sound different than any other muffler I've heard and I dig it.
