Default Bronze bushed rocker trunions

Now that the Straub and CHE bushing kits have been out for a while, for those of you that have actually used them, what are your opinions? Anybody put 10,000 miles with double springs on them and taken them off and inspected them? Wondering how they are holding up long term.

Is that because the CHE "floats" the bushing as opposed to the Straub being pressed in? I can agree with that...

I used Johnson brothers and was impressed with them. All the bushings need soaking in oil or set them on your thumb, fill with oil and use your index finger to pressurize the bushing with oil. They are porous and this will add alot of time to their lively hood. Learned this from re building generators and starters.. FWIW

just wondered that since these aren't directly oiled how they would last. Familiar with using bushed rockers with big block Mopars but those were pressure oiled and lasted forever.

There's usually enough oil spilling off the pushrod hole to bathe the bushing in sufficient oil to keep it healthy. The only thing that will kill a bushing is if a pushrod clogs.
