Default Swapping my 02 ls1 to lq4 or just leave it ????

I have an 02 Ws6, only 68k engine is in perfect working condition, it is the ls6 block. It currently has btr stage 3 cam, ported 241s, stock ls6 intake, ported TB, custom 4" air intake system, 1 7/8" long tubes, tuned on how tuners by myself. Car runs really good traps 116/118 full weight no tricks pulled for weight savings. I have a good lq4 sitting on the shelf that I got out of an 03 Denali I bought for parts. I o ly had 400 into the truck and sold more in parts off it than I have into it so at this point the engine cost me nothing. I'm going to pull the motor again to mill heads and do my twin disc. I'm on the fence about just dropping on the lq4 and swapping everything over to it. I'd like to see the car go 120+ traps on motor before I spray it. You guys the weight penalty is worth dropping in the lq4 for little more HP and torque.

Just a FYI if you take your existing top end and run similar compression on the LQ4 it will basically make the same power. Ask me how i know lol

Lol, that's why I'm asking. I'm sure it will make a little more torque but I will be bumping up compression either way

The torque will be very minimal with all else being equal. Even with a slight bump in compression. Just letting you know. Personally, unless you plan on a big shot of nitrous, I'd just stay with your LS1 since there is nothing wrong with it
