I have a 230/232 58x/591x 110 +4 cam and wanted to know if i were a tooth off (retarded) what woulld be some symptoms. I know if it were advanced anymore I wouldnt have to guess because I wouldve bent up 16 PR but what about it being retarded. Would that yeild the same results on the exhaust valves?

 

Just happened to my friend yesterday! He had a "good friend that knows LS1's ) install MTI heads/FLP headers/G5X1 cam for real cheap. When he went to have it tuned by a professional shop in Houston ....they notified him that it made 384hp and 340tq due to the cam not being degree'ed in and was most likely a tooth off . He got what he paid for .

 

Damn so even with a cam that big you wotn hurt anything just be down on power. Looks like the front cover will be comming off
