I have a 98 z/28 about to go 408 with a big shot of nos
i was told by engine builder that my stock harness and computer may not hold the power
can anybody shine in and let me know if they have had any problems with making power on the stock set up
plan on making a little over 1k hp running a TH-400 9” Moser E-85 80lb injectors

You're gonna be spraying at least 400, you'll be making 500-550 or so on the stock computer, that's nothing. The nitrous will be controlled by stand alone systems and have nothing to do with the stock computer and harness. You could go way further on the stock stuff.

You're gonna have way more to worry about than the computer and harness.

Just meant the stock computer and wiring is not a concern, basically none at all, but pretty much every single thing else is with that much dope. The build, the trans, the car the nitrous etc etc. Should have worded it differently originally.

If you got the money an aftermarket system would be nice, but the stock stuff can do the job too.

The aftermarket system would be nice for traction control individual cylinder EGT and things of that nature, so again, if you got the money, do it. You'll want every precaution you can have, which I'm sure you already know if you're building something on the level you are.
