Default Frankenstein CNC Porting

Hey guys, I'm a "new" member on here. I come over here a lot to watch some builds and look for some feedback. I'm building a 90's model single cab with a LS1 setup. Plans for my 243 heads are to send them off to Frankenstein Engineering for their stage 1 porting. Anybody have any feedback/results on these? I'm pretty dead set on them for my choice I just haven't seen much talk about the 243 program for their stage 1's. Should be sending them off in a few weeks, here is my rundown of plans:

LS1 fresh shortblock
BTR Stage 2 LS1/2 cam: 227/234 .614/.576 113+2
FED Stage 1 243's
Simple bolt ons

Plan is a nice DD sleeper truck with decent idle that's fun on the streets. Any info/feedback is appreciated on the FED CNC stage 1's. Thanks!

Best thing to do would be send Russell or Chris a pm, or call and ask for Russell. Can send FRH a email also. Personally I'd send the email or PM 1st* then call that way you can have all the information to look it over anytime needed. Not trying to remember what was said. Trust me I'm a mini spokesman. Chris sent me a PM today @ 8:38am.
Good people I've dealt with more than 20 times, with work and questions. Honestly more than that.

I've spoken with someone on the performance trucks page from their FED page about some info on my build, very helpful and responsive! Local tuner for me just had a c6 with same cam and head choice and said it rips on the streets. I was just looking for some guys results with them for some cool feedback to hold me over for my build. Lol

IDK about those heads but, I've had Ls3's done and recommended over 12 people all of whom got what they were asking.

Damn you respond quick...LOL! Not just air but makes HP cheap, if I'd use the Ls3 heads on my 408 with the cam listed for the ls7 heads = should make 800+ on the pump with a little VP Unleaded Extreme. Around 20+/- hp loss vs Ls7 heads both being factory.

Haha, slow day at work! for $1150 shipped through my tuner for CNC work and a spring kit I can't complain. I don't really have a HP goal in mind, just to surprise some nicer cars on the streets. I'll be running 91 and maybe some e85 at times. I'm thinking 10.5:1 - 11.0:1, still undecided just depends what tuner says which I know he'll say 11.0 should be fine.

Higher is better 11.0 for sure! Mine was the same price for porting, cool thing is they have different stages for different Hp requirements.

I was set on TEA for a little but if I can save a buck here and there I will. Like I mentioned, I'm not looking to make a ton of power. And a few CFM'S really won't be that noticeable. Especially since it's my first build and im young (20 yrs old) I would like to avoid breaking the bank in this process

There's nothing wrong in saying that...I'm forty and I'm not breaking the bank either and have another engine I'm buying parts for that I can't afford......But the thing is time is only needed and it gives me something to do and look forward to. If you like doing something it doesn't matter or what anyone thinks.
