Waste of time?
Kinda considering the Torquer V3.. When I put the TR224 in, the car was a daily driver. It's not anymore.
I keep toying with the idea of turbo, but I have too many hobbies, so I can't bring myself to come off the funds for that..
Anyone?
I think I have literally driven it about 60 miles in the last year.. It just sits in the garage now. Plan to change that this summer..

Keeping up with a nitrous bottle would drive me nuts. Had a kit for a while and sold it before I installed it.

To clarify, I was saying a higher stall will make a world of difference. A 4000 - 4400 along with the v3 will yield very nice gains considering stall speed + shift extensions compared to the 3200 he is currently running.
I doubt he is making much power at 3200 rpm's and would also benefit from higher shift extensions from a different converter.
It was a rough estimate but what I was getting at is say he spins it to 6500 rpms, from a dig he sees it flash to 3200 rpms where he is making maybe 250 whp? Where as if he were to go with a different converter he could be making 330whp at 4000 rpms? Then we get to the shift extensions where with the 3200, if spinning to 6500 be is probably seeing rpms drop to probably around 5000 rpms as opposed to a 4000 stall where he would see around 56-5700 rpm shift extensions and be making much more power at Wot from a dig and after each shift.

The car is a 100% street car, never hit the strip and I typically dont beat on it too hard. Sounds like a waste, I know. LOL
