my pushrods are stock length. That is for 1.7 ration rockers... right?

I'm probably going with stock rockers with Smith Bros. trunions from FED

Don't have your heart set on stock length pushrods. You need to measure every time for every cam no matter what. 1.7 rockers doesn't matter if the cam changes. pushrod measurement is a must.

I had stockers with .650/.630 lift and after a few thousand miles it scrubbed the tops of the valves pretty good and needed reground.

I would find out what guides are going to be used, and what springs so you can find the specs on those and start laying out some more details so that you will have a setup that works well.

Do you plan on upgrading the lifters?

Thought they used the old style trunion kits in those.

The pushrod length does not relate to rocker ratio. It has to do with the distance between the lifter and the rocker arm. And that length is affected by 1) the cam base circle, 2)head milling and/or head gasket thickness, and the rocker itself. The TSP roller rockers demand a shorter pushrod because of how it is made, NOT its ratio, which is still considered stock for all practical purposes. This is why I asked what I did.

The roller is in the tip. Trunnions can be whatever you want., though the OEM style CAN fit. The recommended one is the bronze bushing type.

Hardened pushrods are not stiffer, which it what you want for an aftermarket valve train. Larger OD will provide more stiffness.

Morel 6504 lifters.
PAC 1905 dual spring kit and titanium retainers.

I'm keeping the same cam that I currently have, which is on stock rockers.

You will still need to measure for pushrods no matter what rockers you use. What is the reccomended preload for those lifters? All brands are different. I have Lunatic high rpm link bar ones (morels) and they want .030-.060 of preload, but informed me that others have done into the .080s safely. Measure them.

You select the pushrod that fits the valvetrain. You don't select the valvetrain that fits the pushrod.

I'm probably going to stick with stock rockers, with upgraded trunions.

Not all lifters are the same height...so I would remeasure for proper preload.
