I’m trying to do things once and know I didn’t leave anything on the table. If I can swing it like I should be able too I want to go aftermarket and get as much as I can. Thinking about getting the 102 and selling my fast 90 also.

Yep I hear that. I myself have two schools of thought on this. One is spend the extra amount and buy top dollar heads, or two take that extra grand you'll save, buy some 243's or whatever, buy a nitrous kit and absolutely demolish the high dollar head setup. No wrong answer answer either way

I hear you. I’ve always leaned towards option 2 as I’m always on a budget. I may one time be able to spend on a great set of heads for once. Another problem is I’ve bought specific parts designed for NA, like my pt4400 stall, designed for NA track stuff, not a good FI stall, so I’ve picked a lane. Gonna ride it till it ends lol.

If you end up going with a 102, take a look at the MSD intake. I love mine.
My tuner just had a h/c/I Ls1 that put down 470 whp through a A4/ locked converter.
- BTR stg. 3 cam
- PRC 243's
- MSD intake
(Don't know the rest of the car specs)

With my current H/C setup I went from a Ls6 to the msd and it pulls a ton harder in the higher rpms. I spun the Ls6 intake to 6700 rpm's and now I'm spinning the msd to 7000 rpm's.

For sure. Another buddy of mine has Mast 215's on his 06 GTO along with a Pat G. custom cam and ported Fast 92, and that thing really moves for such a boat lol. So that 4400 stall wouldn't be to friendly even on a 100 shot?

Chances are it will blow through the converter but I will probably still give it a try eventually myself lol

Gotcha. I'm surprised even a small 100 shot would do that. Your car would fly on some juice lol

Yeah it’s not the stall size it’s the actual pt series of stalls from yank. They state outright that they are only for NA track cars. Blow though on them is huge. The SS series or a stall designed for nitrous would be way better.

I’ll take a look. Don’t know much about that intake. Only ever seen it online, never in person.

I see. Yeah you are definitely stuck n/a then. I can see why you want to maximize this route.

I have no problems staying NA, as long as I get what I want. Fast as shiz lol. Converters can be changed later.

I’m already pretty good on suspension. Drag setup. Mild weight reduction and no AC. Budget beast. Lol

Good deal. You might crack into the 10's with this setup

That would be kinda nuts. But I guess not unreasonable. Previous owner went 11.8ish on smaller cam stall combo without nearly the modifications I’ve made now

Yep you get a really good 60ft and a 10.9 would be very doable
