Default As Cast PRC 225/Torquer V2

Currently looking to buy a set of heads for my cammed 00 M6 T/A. Trying to decide between Texas Speeds As Cast 225 heads (62cc) or some 2.5 5.3 heads.

Currently have:
Stock bottom end
Torquer V2
Fast 92/92 Intake & TB
ARH 1 3/4 longtubes

I've searched around, and found some build threads with similar set ups (with the 225 heads), but with no final results. Has anyone seen any numbers? Or better yet graphs?

I used to run the Torquer V2 cam with PRC stage 2.5/5.3 heads, and it was a very nice combo IMO. No numbers, but with a 4.10 gear and M6 it would move out really well for what it had.

I see you're in MI. Wherabouts?

Yeah, they seem to work quite nice together from everything I've seen. Don't see much about the as cast heads with this cam. I know it's been done, but can't seem to find any actual results to compare.

I'm from Warren. How about yourself?

Yeah I agree, I don't see much info on those heads either compared to like the 5.3 or LS6 heads, but im sure theres some good out there somewhere. If I remember right there is a nember on here that runs those 225 heads with the Torquer V2 cam. I think he is really close to me too. Like maybe in the Brighton area. Might wanna call Texas Speed and ask them.

I'm in the Fenton area near Flint

I have a similar setup with the 2.5 5.3 heads. My cam is 223/231 .610"/.617" so less duration and more lift than the V2. I make 400 RWHP with my combo if you need a point of reference.

this may not help a ton but i have the torquer 3 that is no longer around and the ls6 stage 2.5 head with the 102 fast and prc 102 TB on my A4 (semi close to what youre thinking) i put down 425 to the tire and my tune is not that great. Hope maybe that helps some, would think around that 400 range
