Bit he told me not to waste the money on port matching the exhaust to my headers because the valve will only let put so much and the hole will only accomadate to that valve so there would be no need to port match my 1 and 7/8 headers. Also he said I didnt really have to port match my fast 102 intake to the intake ports on the heads. Is any of this true? The guy gets alot of business and works on Sprint cars and things like that and hes basically doing what texas speed would do for half the price. But the exahust and intake ports just didnt seem right to me wouldnt you want to open them up a bit? This set up is going on a 6.0 bored .030 over to make a 408. So I didnt wany to spend 1600 plus for a set from trick flow or somewhere so i figured what I had I could get close for what I had around the garage. But what do you guys think?
This is a stroker , correct ? I would not use those Manley valves . If your going with BTR TFS heads, have him do bowl blend and LS3s turned down to 2.05 he can do as a package with springs too.

This is the best advice IMO. I think the LS3 heads are a great budget option for 4xxci stroker combos.

Ported 243 heads would work really well too, assuming the porting is done well. You can still make over 500whp with the ported OEM castings relatively easily.

Aftermarket heads are worth more power, but you have to decide if its worth it or not. They usually come with bronze guides, which are usually not recommended to use with stock rockers. So replacing the guides with the powdered metal guides, or roller rockers, need to be added to the price tag.

This is really right up your alley.

Sell your current heads and intake to fund it. Absolute biggest bang for buck.

You could probably end up with LS3 heads and a rectangle port 102 and only spend a few hundred bucks in the process.
