LM7 862 Heads 2001 Tahoe Hey All,
Working on my LM7 out of a 2001 Tahoe with 862 heads that do not have a notch. Can someone tell me what specific part number head gasket to get? I see Mahle MLS is the prefered choice, but with lots of searching i see people using all kinds of different kits including gaskets from 2002 Tahoe's which appear to be different thickness presumably to change compression ratio, I am swapping this into my K5 blazer, not planning to go crazy, just want a good reliable head gasket. Hopefully someone can help point me in the right direction!
