We are just refreshing and updating our race engine.
and thought I would share the spec we bought the engine from a 24 hr leman car which was run by Perrier racing in the late 90's.
it is a 5.7 original spec
it had 243 heads ported within an inch of there life
pretty trick for the day they had 350 chevy big springs so much work had been done to the heads but unfortunately they cracked as they had been worked to much and got weak.
it originally made 650 hp on race fuel.

Je custom high comp pistons

massive cam over all lift of 670
callies billet crank
daily engineering dry sump
just changed block to atk iron 5.3 bored to 3.903
heavier block but hopefully it will last longer than the alloy ones as we have done 2 now.
the 're build should be finished with in 2 weeks so I will update on power figures.
