LSA cannot truly have an exact effect on a cam.....
it completely depends on all the other #'s

but in general the one noticable thing is that the closer the LSA... the more overlap possibility...which means more lope....

I think(if I remember right)... the stock cam was something like 116.5 LSA???
and a lot of performance cams from sponsors and other assorted dealers are in general 112-114 lsa for our ls1 cars

to keep a car a little more streetable you typically need more lsa when you add more duration.....not that a 245/245 108 lsa would be unstreetable(it really would be a pain in the *** on the street and most people would call it a track only vehicle)... but it would lope like a son-of-a-bitch...and might be real hard to just get it to idle... but if you gave it a 112 or a 114 lsa the idle would be easier to tune and would still lope real hard because of the overlap caused from so much duration...

damn... I gotta quit reading so many of those posts by j-rod and denz

I entered "LSA" into our handy dandy little search box and it maxed out at 250 threads. So, I tried searching JUST thread titles and STILL came up with 153 threads!
