hes full of it, i work atr a dealer too, and ive never seen anybody do that, thats a recipe for disaster, and only a dumbass would do that.

Someone elaborate... how would using an impact wrench to seat the crank bolt (new or used) affect the bearings?

i might have to go to work and get our 3/4" drive torque wrench when it comes time for mine! muahahaha

that thing is a BEAST. its got to be 4 feet long. i had to do all kinda **** with that this summer. you learn that pulling DOWN while using it is about 50x easier than trying to torque bolts going up with it lol.
