Default LM7 compatibility with LS1

If I wanted to build a 387 LSX using the bowtie block P/N 19260093 and sell the LS1 engine that I have now as a whole, what is the best way to go about sourcing all the covers and sensors without having to buy all new or taking from my existing LS1? I'm thinking just get an LM7 junkyard engine and just transfer the covers and sensors over?

I'm assuming all these LM7 parts will just swap right over and my factory LS1 harness will work with the sensors? I stole this list from elsewhere but obviously replace certain things with new.

Lifter Trays
Lifter Tray Bolts
Rocker Arm Pedestal
Windage Tray Spacer Washers
Lower Oil Pan Splash Tray
Front Cover
Rear Cover
Oil Pan
Valley Cover
Valve Covers
Coil Packs
Crank position sensor
Cam position sensor
Oil level sensor
Oil pressure sensor
Head temp sensor
Front knock sensor
Rear knock sensor

As long as you stick with ALL Gen III sensors, etc. it should all transfer over. Maybe a few odds and ends might not, but overall should work. And LM7's are cheap...

That's what I was hoping for. Thanks!

I'd worry most about the differences between fuel injector wiring connectors.

Wouldn't one just use their factory LS1 harness with the LSX block and aftermarket high flowing injectors that are compatible with the LS1 harness?
