intermittent rough idle issue
2000 z28 with some mods (aftermarket exhaust from engine back, no major mods on external or internal engine)
So my issue is that after my engine is up to temp, if I turn off the engine leave for a little while (maybe 20-30 minutes) and turn it back on within the first minute of running time the RPM will dip to about 200-300 and will feel like its about to stall. Then after about 30-60 seconds it will just fix itself. With no code popping up, adding throttle does not help, RPM will climb but will not provide sufficient power. After running a OBD II reader I actually did find a P0463 (fuel level sensor high voltage) in the ECM codes (so it didnt throw a check engine light) however I doubt a fuel level sensor has anything to do with an engine issue. I am thinking maybe a crappy fuel pump? But does anyone have any other ideas to look at? For the record she has 183,000 miles on it.
