Default Need help choosing lq9 408

Gents, I have decided to go with a lq9 408 stroker after my intake sucked up water and hydrolocked my ls1. I have found three companies ( tsp, Thompson motorsports, and tre) that sell a 408 shortblock and wanted to know if you have any experience with them or recommendations.

I went with Texas Speed. Super great to work with. They'll help you set it up anyway you want. On a side note, how did you hydrolock? What car, what intake set up, etc?

I ended up going with Thompson Motorsports. The car is a 86 IROC with a ls1 swap. It hydrolocked when i was caught in a storm and drove through a puddle. I will be starting a new thread with the build details and recommendations for a cam. Thanks gents.
