Default Sealed power piston rings break in time?

Just put together and installed 6.0. I gapped the rings as directed. These are sealed power brand. How long before they seat? I also honed the block with a 400 grit ball hone.

Well, that's going to depend a lot on how you break them in.

There are a lot of differing opinions out there, but personally, I'm a follower of the Mototune USA method , AKA "drive it like you stole it."

Utilizing that method, I'd estimate you should be FULLY broken in after a few hundred miles. And for the record, I have almost always used Sealed Power rings.

That guy isn't even old enough to have seen an engine go through its entire life - you probably shouldn't take advice from him. And why on earth does he have his music playlist on the same page? Just wow.
