You get stupider with every post.

Quote me where I said anything about a head gasket.

It's easy, find my post, click quote then point out where it says anything that has to do with a head gasket.

When you don't find it, write me a letter about how dumb you are, start the letter with Daddy, I'm sorry I can't read and I'm so stupid... you take it from there.

I just looked thru the WHOLE thread.
I don't know what Rockin is smoking/snorting/shooting/drinking/rubbing into his belly, but it has to be some good ****...
Not ONE reference to head gaskets by Pooter. Was curious in case anyone missed something....

I had to go back and check 3 times myself to make sure.

I'll be patiently waiting on my letter from double chromosome boy

Try dumping some Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinder and let it sit and see if it cleans up the rings some.

But still I am losing water somewhere. I mean I’ve topped it off several times after the 1st initial fill.
The radiator cap drips a little water but not that much water to where it’ll deplete that much water within 6 miles.

A worn out rad cap can lead to coolant loss but usually overheating (boil over) is present as well. Judging by all you’ve shared it really sounds like the coolant is going out the tailpipe, either through a bad head gasket or cracked cylinder wall. Are you losing oil too? If not then what you’re likely seeing on the plug is wet soot that appears to be oil.

I haven’t drivin it since Monday. I just parked it for now.
To be honest I don’t think so.
I don’t think I’ll drive it much anymore until it’s fixed.

Pressure test the coolant system. If you can't do it a good shop can.

Yeah I can do it by renting the tool from oreillys or another parts store.
Its one of the next things I may do before we pull the heads, but I’m sure the head must come off no matter what.

I had time today to finally pressurize the cooling system.
i found where the water leak is, it’s at the upper water pump outlet where the hose meets at.
The clamp was tight enough to keep it from blowing off with the bevel on the water pump neck but not tight enough to stop a leak.
At 15lbs it came out quick on the back side of the outlet and that’s why I was losing that much coolant. I had a friend tighten all clamps during this swap, I guess that last one was when his side chick sent him nudes and he forgot to fully tighten it.
Dummy me....
Went back and tightened all clamps, pumped to 16lbs and no leak anywhere.
it kept in between 15-16 lbs for over 10 minutes, so no more water leak any where, one thing fixed.
I’m going to drive it around again, since the coolant leak is fixed and see what happens next.
Will-update again
