Default Fixing a small hole in the block

Ok, long story short I bought a car for the transmission and stall.
However, it does still have an Ls1 short block in it. See, what had happened was, the hydro locked it and put a small hole in the driver side. It was not an oil or water passage way. It was not really factored in but it also has a brand new cam that may still be good too.
my question is, can that hole be fixed?

You’d want have a looksey inside the engine, to see if that rod got the cylinder also. It likely did, BUT if it didn’t, you could prolly get that hole fixed no problem. Tear it down and throw up some pics. Everybody likes pics.

You could fix that. I’ve seen a silver dollar size hole in the side of a 2jz block fixed up after it slung a rod. Just make sure it didn’t booger anything else up.

It's an aluminum block, so you can fix pretty much anything for the right price.

Will it be worth it, though? We won't know until we see more.

oh I cannot wait to see inside this thing. I have already pulled lifters out to like at the cam as much as possible and from what I see it looks good. However I need to get a better look in there I know.

I couldn't help myself. I figured it would be a good way of pointing out where the hole was.
