These things don't wear out, do they?

This is my first shot at an LS build, and it needs to last about 5-7 years before I frame off the 69 and do it all again. I will probably find by then that a 5.3 is too small and end up selling it. So no point in "wasting" money if a used one will work fine.

They shouldn’t wear out unless the donor engine had a serious oiling issue

Thanks. I have experience with that. The cam I pulled had journals grooved out all over. Bearings were shot as well.
Will check it tomorrow.
