I'm in Canada, so when paying twice as much as you guys do, ya, trying to save as much as possible.
If the journals and lobes are smooth, would it be OK?
These things don't wear out, do they?
This is my first shot at an LS build, and it needs to last about 5-7 years before I frame off the 69 and do it all again. I will probably find by then that a 5.3 is too small and end up selling it. So no point in "wasting" money if a used one will work fine.
