Default LS1 to LS2 conversion question?

What parts from an LS1 would convert over to a LS2 block, for example heads, oil pan, alternator, water pump, etc, etc? Am wondering if I should just buy a forged rotating assembly kit for my existing LS1 from Texas Speed or get a LS2 block and rotating assembly and be able to switch everything else over?

LS2 has a larger bore which is a plus. Might be able to find one salvage, ebay or classifieds. Most things swap over. I think knock sensors might be different.

Knock sensors move and just about everything else is interchangeable. The LS2 would give you more cubes, but make sure it's not the 58x relucter if you're putting in a LS1 car. Basically look at the total cost start to finish, add 10% for incidentals then figure out which is the best bang for your buck.
