Default Engine internals balanced

Im going to have my crank balanced to the forged pistons. What all should i have? I believe the shop listed pistons, rings, crank, harmonic balancer, and maybe flex plate? Now ill be switching to a th400 should i get a new plate that would match a th400 instead of 4l60e to send with the internals or will he even need the plate for balancing?

LS engines are all internally balanced, so don't really need the crank damper or flexplate as they are balanced individually.

I would add "Connecting Rods" to the list.

You will need the pistons, rings, pins, clips, rods, and a rod bearing. As G said, the LS cranks are internally balanced, meaning the crank is balanced independent of the dampener or flywheel/flexplate. However, its not a bad idea to have the shop check their balance independent of the crankshaft bit I have yet to find any that weren’t balanced from
the manufacturer.
