Got the heads off everything looks well, the engine only has 98000 miles. I’m going to install new lifters, timing chain and sprockets, oil pump, arp rod bolts, and lifters.

The bottom of the timing cover to oil pan does need it.

Don't you have to get the rods resized if you change rod bolts? That's the reason I didn't change mine when I had it apart. I've read both ways with more of them having to be resized.

The new gaskets are so good you don't even need sealer. I only used a dab on each corner of the timing cover and have 0 leaks.

Just a small dab on the corners works for me.

I'm jealous of that lift and overhead room. Looking forward to see what it does.

Thanks I appreciate it I’m going to change the cam bearings as the look a little worn. Rod and mains look good. So it would be stupid for me not to change them. Going to measure for pushrods tonight and hopefully have it back together this weekend.

Thanks I appreciate it basically the only thing not new is the rods pistons and crank. Trans is getting a z pac, beast sunshell, and a new valve body with spacer.
