Any suggestions on dropping oil pressure?

Any suggestions on dropping oil pressure? I run road courses. The motor has less than 4000 miles on new rings, and top end. I have heard that the LS1 oil pump is not the best and I am looking into ported LS6 pumps. Anyone have any advice?
