Howards Cams in a 4.8/ or 5.3 ?s. There was a post/thread about this cam, I don't know the specs, but trying to find more about it. JoeNova talked about this cam, I've tried to pm him but it will not go through, does anyone remember the conversation I'm speaking of?

What are you doing, daily driver or drag racer? Power adder? A stage 1 truck cam would probably be a good match for the smaller displacement. You just need to determine if you want a turbo cam or NA cam, low lift or high lift. TSP has lots to choose from.
If want something a little more aggressive a 190385-15 it has 2 more degrees of exhuast and 34* ex lift on a 115 lsa ...... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hrs-190385-15
Side note the Howards LS cams # start with 190xxx-XX the last two # are the lsa The first cam 190375 can be chosen with any lsa between 110 to 115, I selected 112 for this example.
Howards cam for a 4.8 I would go a little smaller like 190295-12 its a 218/224 .604/ .604 lsa 112 or 190395-13 218/224 .604/ .612 lsa 113 If you want something like a drop in cam to work with stock springs then 190235-114 its a 216/224 .551/ .551 lsa 114 . Another popular cam that would work well for a 5.3 is 190245-12 its 222/225 .561/.578 lsa 112 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hrs-190245-12 also btw Pro-comp is knocking off this cam and couple others like the 226/232 .578/.587 lsa 112

Well, I'm thinking of selling one of my 6Ls to more my swap along more, but every time I do something like this, it never works out. Now I'm really thinking I went to small on my cam choice for the 6L.

Hey Stamp I dont understand what your trying to do ? What are you building a 5.3 .......... I know JoeNova has used the 222/225 cam in 5.3s I linked it in the preceding post .But Im not sure if thats the cam you are referring to !
