Default At what point does milling heads/deck surface cause fitment issues with FAST 102?

Just curious at what point this happens?

I've had a set of TFS 245's cut down from 70cc to 64cc, and the LS3 that I had built has a deck height of in the neighborhood of 9.223 after having been decked down a bit. I'll be running a .051" gasket.

My understanding is that around .006" will equal 1 cc (roughly), so my heads were shaved .036" and the deck is down .017, so ultimately .053" in that range. I'm just wondering when fitting a fast becomes "tight".

.020 You're already screwed LOL. JFWY. Every application is different and if you are milling the block (not all that common on LS stuff) you need to measure it yourself or have your engine builder do it. However, it sounds like you'll be just fine.

I did .055 once and it torqued down. Intake flexed a little but it was fine
