I've never used studs on an LS but on other projects that required studs I just followed the instructions. If the instructions say 100, why do 90 instead of 100?

Am I missing some critical piece of information?

just in case for some reason my torque wrench is off to prevent over torquing or breaking. regular studs are 70, the stronger metal ones like i have are mainly for boost applications thats why they say to do 100, since the stud is stronger for stronger clamp.
