Op about the best thing you could do is to just do a few bolt ons and put some 4.56s in a 6.0 2500hd truck. Especially if you're running larger tires.

Headers with td/x , ported tb and intake or change them to 90mm stuff, good valve springs and a set of 1.9 roller rockers, find or build a cai that don't have a 90* turn before the tb. Electric fans and a ewp would cool it good before truck pull rounds. Those mods with 4.56 gears would thrash a average h/c truck that overlooked those mods.

Definitely agree with gears. What size tire you run? I like 4.56s with 33 or smaller. I loved my 4.88s and 35s (actually measured 34).
