Default Lm7 5.3L GM looking for reliable 700 whp.

Alright so I’m trying to find some details on what would be best internals for a 700 whp boosted engine. Thinking of going forged internals not sure what brand and going to put good heads on. Looking to get a compression ratio of 9:1 due to adding a large turbo in the end based on application I put this in. Just curious what others have done to maintain reliability of the engine. Not trying to put money into just doing cam and heads bc in the end I will want it to last. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Call WS6store for solid advice on stuff like this. At that power level, for it to live, it has to be RIGHT.

Keep the CR stock, 9.5:1. Its plenty low to stay alive at 700whp. Gen 4 would be a better starting point but that 5.3 is still stout. New bearings and rings (could do pistons if you wanted) and 700whp all day.

So you don’t think I should go forged rotating assembly?

If you wanted peace of mind, you could do pistons, but you don't need to do crank/rods for 700whp as long as the tune is good. Most people lift a ringland on a boosted LS due to a bad tune. Rarely will you bend a rod (which is typically due to power level) and almost never bend/break a crank unless you're doing something serious. WS6 store has a ton of pistons and even their own brand, which I run on a rebuilt LS6 that I may boost at some point in the future. Their rebuild kits are great.
