Default Boosted L33...new guy here!

Hey guys, new guy here. I'm about to start a build with an engine builder for my new jet boat hull thats almost ready for me to pick up. I have an L33 that I'd like to rebuild, and want to put an LSA supercharger on it. I'm doing the best I can with research but need some help. Obviously I be going thru all the details with my builder but would like as much input as I can get, especially from guys who have gone down my road before. Since its an L33 it has cathedral port 799 heads what won't work (without the adapter) for the blower. What kinda of recommendations do you guys have for me in regards to heads for this build? I'll be selling the 799s to help recoup some costs. After that I'll have a cam spec'd from either TSP, Comp, or Lunati. What do you guys think? I'm looking to get into at least high 300's (preferably low to mid 400's) for TQ, in the 2500-4400 RPM range, and for a jet boat thats all I care about, after talking to boat builders and guys on the boat forums. This will be going into a 19' aluminum jet boat thats built very heavy, for skinny wanter. Not a race jet boat. To be exact, its a Firefish Hammerhead http://firefish.ca/boats.php

The only heads that will fit a L33 are cathedral heads because the bore size is to small for the rectangle heads valve size.
If you want low RPM power your gonna need a big engine or a quick spooling turbo.
The LSA is good too but the cost is insane for what your trying to do and im assuming you have plenty of room to make a nice and simple turbo setup.
Just my opinion thoguh, whats the budget?

They make rectangular to cathedral adapter plates to put an LSA on a Gen 3. About $250 a pair. Check out Boost District for LSA kits and belt drive adapters/parts. Id run a pair of stock heads as your power goals are very modest.

Ok thanks. Yea Ive seen the adapter but was thinking it seems like a band aid solution and not the right way to do it. Was hoping to do a head swap so it was done properly. Anyone use the adapter? Successful? Wish you went another route?

Pretty sure the stock bore on an L33 is too small to put the later heads on. Those adapters are pretty beefy and gasketed. I wouldn't hesitate to run them.

You can't put ls3 heads on an l33 period. Either use the adapters or get a 6.0/6.2
