Yea me too and the results.
The prc 225s are great on buddys c5z. Lots of midrange power, which you should have too with that 231 intake duration! But that cam will love some nitrous as well with 12* of split. Dont stress over anything and start putting together a 100-150 kit. What intake are you gonna run as well?

I have close to same setup.. same heads and just a hair bigger cam from tick. SNS 3, 235/243 .630/.610 and 111 LSA. And an ls6 intake I get a little bit of buck but I’ve fussed with the lower end of sparktable and smoothed out some of the low speed cracker tables and the buck is only present in 1st gear at very very low rpm and not bad at all(with my 4.11s atleast)and I’m definitely a “tooner”, so I think someone who is good can easily make it feel like a stock car driveability wise.. Car is kind of soft at very low rpms. around 2500 it wakes up and at 3500 I feel is right around the meat of the torque curve. You will like the setup. It has much more mid range as my cam only setup with small xr275hr cam and just keeps on pulling like a train past 6k. This setup Grenaded a girdled 10 bolt on a 5000rpm shift into 3rd only had 10k miles on it since I rebuilt it...be prepared to budget for a 9 inch..i was scared to even use first gear with my 10 bolt

I literally just installed mine maybe 1k-2k miles ago. It’s a beautiful well made piece and it is very strong..it even just feels more solid driving around. I opted to assemble myself, wasn’t that hard. if I read their site right if they assembled it I’d have to have it taken to a drop dock to get free shipping..but my abs and trac control work flawlessly, it was a bit time consuming pressing the toner rings to the right depth, but after that it all went it pretty smooth, the pinion angle was a pain as the adjuster system they use ran out of adjustment long before I got my right angle. But My only real complaint was that some of their hardware bolts are mediocre. Anyway you’ll love your cam. Do you know what the lift was?

Advice on the 9-inch. Most of the quotes are spooled. Pay extra for a wavetrac if it is a street car. Guys will say you can street drive a spool and you can, but I was much happier after ditching the spool for a wavetrac

You probably just broke half of it. You don't break all of it until 960 hp.

Just got done tuning my friend's c5z last night with the prc 225 heads. Very impressed with how they performed no doubt. Still on ls6 intake/Tb, vararam, usual long tube exhaust setup. Made 455whp back to back, 91 octane, no time for cool down runs for that 460+ run. With a fast setup and maybe some e85 I don't doubt we will see some very impressive numbers from the old sbe ls6 😎

Tsp magic stick per there suggestion. If I had a little more time I think as is could of probably squeaked out close to 465whp. This is on a 120k motor that has seen alot of autocross and hard miles. Very impressed with how they performed.
