Default x1 on 112lsa in an a4?

hey guys. i can get an x1 from a buddy for a good price, and was wondering if it would be a good cam for my car (mods in sig). i know my t1 is on a 112, but its also smaller. will i pick up enough to make this swap worth it? it will be going back to mti for a retune after the swap. thanks ahead of time.

I am not all that fond of the X-1 although a lot of people like it and make decent power with it. Tony made good power with it and a few others I've herd of ,but personally that T-1 is making good power for you I think and would not be worth the change. But remember that is my opinion and everyone has one of those. Craig made good power with that cam and his heads so maybe you should look at doing heads first to see what you get before going into the cam changing bussines and start looking for something that might already be there. I've rode in your car and I think it runs pretty good and think that your time would be better spent some where else right now. Talk to you later!

Works very well for me... makes enough power to go 10's on the motor.

You could gain 10 HP from the swap with tuning. Make sure they also tweak the tuning for the change in low rpm characteristics of the cam.
