Mavn, I'm not a nitro expert but I think you'll need more compression than the 8.8:1 or so you are going to get with a stock dish piston 5.3 with 853 heads on it.

I'll be the one guy that says I don't think that it's going to work for you this time lol

I hope it works! As long as A/F is good and no solenoids fail/stick or something electronic mishaps it should work. Just need the safety stuff, unless the goal is to blow it up without caring lol. Id choose to run the 100 shot off the line and then run the 200 shot once RPMS are up.

I had a nitrous kit but sold it because of those safety things I was told I should buy and didn't want to lol. I don't know how you guys get over the cost of a tune either. Mail order is expensive enough, dyno tuners here want 500-800$. Hate this city. There's one 2 miles from My house that starts at 650 and specializes in gm forced induction tuning.

11pm update !

Started dropping the motor in and Bolting up the trans at 6pm . She was running at 10!

60psi of oil pressure at idle.

Engine sounds super healthy.!

Need to finish front accessories, cooling system, and start on the nitrous kit... then button the rest of it up then see if the trans is worth a **** tomorrow lol idk if it's good.

Summit 3600 Anti balloon converter that is $300. Came with the car and the guy was spraying it no issues . Well see how it likes it ! Plus I always gotta rep my @Summitracing parts when I can!

Summit cam, summit converter in this car .

I chose a very interesting cam for this project . Well see how it pans out
