Question Low Oil Pressure in 5.3 :/

I have a sn95 that i LS swapped here recently and first couple start up were fine as far as oil pressure goes: 30 psi idle and 50-60 stepping on it.

All of a sudden it dropped down to 20 psi idle and maybe 30 steppin on it. Took the oil filter to a buddy who has a performance shop who cut it open and there
was some metal bits in it but not many. He even said it didnt look too bad.

It was running 10w-30 then i switched to 20-50 after pressure drop. No change in pressure that i noticed.

Pressure is being measure by mechanical gauge so i took the line off the back and put a catch bucket next to it and cranked the engine. Oil came out in spurts. Not a steady stream
some for 3 seconds, stopped for 2 seconds, back on for 3 seconds and thats how it stayed.

Havent pulled screen from under pressure gauge port yet but i wanted to see some second opinion on whether this is air getting past the pickup tube o-ring or the spurty oil being an
actual symptom of worn bearing.

Other than those 2 things i cant think of anything else that would give me low oil pressure like this.

Thanks in advance for the replies any opinion matters at this point.
