Identifying 5.3 L33 engine number on block???

Every "trusted seller" I have purchased from has/can provide a VIN from the donor vehicle.
Get the RPO breakdown for that VIN from the dealer. Match it to the VIN on the engine.

Thanks, I tried that but couldn't get any help from Chevrolet.

You need the entire VIN, match the last six digits to whats stamped on the block. If they match look at the 8th digit of the VIN for the specific engine type and 10th digit for the year.

Going under the assumption you needed it for legal reasons, registration, title, etc.
