Looks like a diesel truck piston and BBC rods. It’s bulletproof. Love to see rockers and lifters. Prolly steel Jesel. That’s a lot of torture. Thanks for the post!

Yea man no problem!! Did you see them bearings at the end and how they were pretty much brand new?!? What an amazing engine

Yessir. I raced asphalt late models way back and we would freshen our engines mid season, to re-rod, piston/rings, and bearing. More than once we tore down to find our bearings just like this video. Threw them in the trash and went new, but we could have put them right back in. $30k+ dry sump engines however. 2000ish race laps... Amazing what quality matching, parts, and an excellant oil system will do for an engine in an abusive environment.

I agree 100% that oil system was next level. The things money can buy you is awesome!! Lol
