Default What head for MS3?

The car is a SBE 00 LS1 Trans Am with full bolt ons, LS6 intake, and the MS3. It’s a 4.10 geared m6 car. He plans to just use this motor until it lets go and build a 408 so for getting the most out of this motor what would be the most budget friendly head choice since everything on this motor won’t be used on the next. I’m torn between the PRC LS6 heads and the 225 as casts. 300 difference for the valve angle could be worth it in my mind but then again they won’t be used once the stock motor lets go. What do you guys think?

Budget bang for $ with MS3 cam: ported heads vs new intake manifold .

I'd probably just skip the heads at this point and get a Fast 92/102 intake. That will probably get 20-25whp vs a stock snout LS6 intake manifold. Sometimes used good condition fast 92's are for sale in the classified section for $550 to $650. A quality new WARR 92mm /102mm TB can be had for less than $150.

That stock LS6 is going to be a restriction with new heads too. So with that MS3 cam, I'd do the new intake or new intake and new heads.

FWIW - I'm a fan of quality ported heads with medium sized cams for driver or street strip applications. Definitely not a MS3 fan for driver cars with a 346 cube engine etc.
