Cam selection
I have the BTR stage 2. I also have a M6. Maybe it works better in a manual than an autotragic. I initially had a couple issues but replacing the IAC and adjusting the throttle cable mostly cured that. I get the occasional buck crawling through a cruise lane or parking lot.

I think the car drives better now than when it was completely stock. There was some bucking when cruising in 6th around the city so I just used 5th instead. I can't recommend this cam enough for anyone looking for something easy to drive while still being a huge improvement over stock. I have the rev limiter set at 6500 right now and it is still making power up top and my tuner says that it could be around 460-465 with better air. He was actually impressed how well everything worked together because he thought it would be around 420 maybe less. I'm still on stock gears but I'm definitely thinking about making the jump to 4.10s or 4.30s just to get into the powerband sooner, you can definitely notice the 3.42s aren't making the most out of my setup.
Also recommend raising your limiter to 7200. Your limiter is right on your power peak. Raise limiter to 7200, shift points to 6800, car will go more fasterer.
Trying to decide what cam to go with so I’m gonna ask some fbody guys who mostly daily drive(everyone has a different definition I know)My last build was a big cam th400 high stall setup so I’m prepared to loose 6th gear on the interstate and all that good stuff.
Heres what I got
2000 SS
150k
Dorman LS2 4 bolt intake
92 mm TB
42 lb injectors
sniper fuel rails
M6
3:73 gears
heads will get a valve job and minor port work if any, springs changed
LS7 lifters and cups
Texas speed cam kit
i don’t want to change the rockers
i wanted to go with magic stick 4
lee at Texas speed really pushed the torquer V2 at 112 LSA instead
Well what’s the word on cam selection for this beast?
and if someone knows, will I need a regulator will the sniper fuel rails and what do I do about the rerun line to the tank?
Thanks in advance.
My last LS build was in 09 so be easy one me lol

I recommend 4.30. I ran with 4.11 and was underwhelmed. Should not have been that big a difference but it was.
Also recommend raising your limiter to 7200. Your limiter is right on your power peak. Raise limiter to 7200, shift points to 6800, car will go more fasterer.

I am glad to see that your recommend the 4.30s too, the day I picked the car up I knew the 3.42 weren't going to stay in the car for very long and after about 30 minutes I was telling my buddies I was going to be putting 4.30 gear set in it soon. It should be a ton of fun and the limiter is definitely going up once I get some sticky tires on the rear as well since I upgraded the entire top end to spin higher when I had it all installed.
