I lived this in mid 20's, same deal. Looking for a cheap cam on a budget. Ended up with some lloyd elliot cam in a Lt1 that had over 600 lift with 1.6 rockers, had to go down to 1.5's after awhile, car ran like crap at the strip and got beat by cars with really simple cams, but noooo, I wanted to save $200 and went with some super stupid cam.

From the specs, yes springs, push rods, converter would all be needed.

I would throw the sum 8707 in it, or ws6 store hotcam, but to be honest you should start with a stall, youll get huge gains plus youll need it for the cam anyways.
