I've spent so much time on the phone bugging Terry and Jason that it's not funny. I beat the hell out of my car I'm **** about all aspects of anything going wrong, as such I'm always checking over everything. All I can say is for the price these 6.0 liter heads have been very, very good to me.

Yes, GTP is still in business, and doing pretty well at that.

I think the reason for no core charges is obvious

I emailed Patriot about 2 weeks ago, asking why thier prices are so low & how they do it? I never got any response. I was just trying to figure out where they get there cores from. I was told by someone else that they used old heads that were replaced by gm under warranty and these cores had to be fixed <i.e. welded, or unwarped>. I was just trying to find out the truth, i still think the have a good product and im considering thier heads in the future.

I've seen the cores in person and all of the LS6 style cores are NEW unused cores. They have never been ran and never been assembled before patriot bought them. I'm sure Terry or someone from Patriot can verify that.

We begin with a new GM O.E. LQ9 casting. We expertly weld the chambers and then heat treat to 356-t6 specs. The heads are then sent and machined by Canfield. On return they are CNC ported by Patriot Performance, fitted with Patriot stainless steel valves, Patriot "Gold" dual springs, Super 7 locks, ti retainers, and bronze guides. In addition, we include free head bolts and GM MLS 6.0 head gaskets with all assembled head orders! (loss of .78cc on 5.3&5.7)

Here at Patriot Performance, We believe that the time has come for the average man to be able to afford quality, high performance product!

P.S. Keep watching us! We currently have 8 products in development!

The above statement is true. They are virgin 6.0 cores. We at Diversified have never had any problems with the heads and are using them on our 427 c5r based shortblocks we are now doing(race versions, hand finished).I trust the heads that much. We have never seen less than 420 to the rear on heads/cam cars with our cams which are small compared to most of the cams out there today and this is through big geared 9 inchers and 12 bolts. I am very happy with them. The 5.3's are a killer bang for the buck also!

GUNNAR@PAT-PER: Do you only use LQ9 castings? Are the 5.3s really 5.3 castings?

The 862 is a sand cast, and the 706 is a lost foam cast, but performance wise no difference.
